Meriden is a key link in the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield rail corridor. ”The State and City view this development as a model “smart growth” project and a crucial catalyst to renewing the City’s downtown core.” This mix of uses is designed to support commuter, resident, and local shopping uses. Meeting Energy Star Rating requirements and a equivalent to LEED Silver Certification through among other aspects, geothermal heating and cooling system. I was part of the team working on design development and construction documents of the project.
